Hugo Cruz and Caminos will be presenting Figure it Out at City of Asylum this April 15. Cruz started working on this album on 2023 in Habana Cuba, recording the first song Danzón Pal Timbal. The focus in this project has been on featuring legends musicians from Cuba and the Unite States, such us: Dave Weckl, Roger Humphries, Mayito Rivera, Orlando ‘‘Maraca’’ Valle, Enrique Lazaga, Luis Valiente Betún, Hugo Cruz father, the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra and many more. The album has 8 songs, all composed by Hugo Cruz with two arrangements, one from Mike Tomaro on La Danza de Catherine and one on Danzón Pal’ Timbal by Hugo Cruz Father. This album comes with live performance videos that are going to be shared on Hugo Cruz and Caminos YouTube page.
